I've had this story on my "to read list" for what feels like ages, but never really had the time to read it. Then I decided to give it a try for a few days ago, and awe, it was exactly what I needed. I've had some real rough days and this story was so filled of cute sweetness that I found myself smiling pretty much all the time.
There were a few sad moments, but that was of course needed, and the ending made up for it all. I was smiling like a moron, so happy no one could see me.
When I read the description I actually thought Bill would be the one with the child, don't ask me why but that was what I thought, so I got a bit surprised when it was Tom, but it was even sweeter that way, I think.
Janni was adorable, I really enjoyed reading about her and I was heartbroken when Tom thought he would lose her, and when he told her about what Anjelica had done.. awww, it was so sad.
But happy ending! yay! I loved it, and I'm so happy Bill and Tom could stay together, and keep little Janni.
Thank you for this story, I loved it, it was absolutely perfect :)

I started to read this a long time ago, but I never finished reading for some unknown reason. But now I decided to read the whole thing and... Ah, I just loved this! I love how Janni is so happy and adorable! And ah, I just don't know what to say. I just absolutely loved this, so much! I bet this is gonna become one of those fics that I read over and over again, 'cause the story is just something so great! Thank you for this fiction!! :D

I have the feeling that I may have read some of this story before. I tend to shy away from fanfic involving children (young Bill and Tom is a grey area!), but Janni is real enough and not too sweet or precocious.
The tension and chemistry between Bill and Tom here is awesome. I love that it's slow building yet at the same time a sense of urgency.
And loving the twist on Georg and Gustav's relationship as being brothers. It's not one I've seen before and I think it works very well like that.

I'm liking the story, but what really made me review is that you used one of my favorite stories from childhood. And its nice that you used Tom as the dad and its good that Bill is thinking about the that tm ha a kid.

It's a really beautiful story. Chapter after chapter, I fell more and more in love with the story and the characters.
I cried when Bill almost left and then when they talked with Janni about her hypothetical moving to his grandparents. I found that Anjelika -or whatever- is a horrible grandma -maybe she wanted Janni's happiness but she failed, Tom and Bill are Janni's happiness.
Otherwise, I really like the relationship between Bill and Tom, I find it perfect. I was so happy when Tom accepted Bill's proposition, giving him the key *.*
