So I'm ditching my homework to read this farther because it's just too damn good to leave alone for to long. It looks like a fun night is about to be had. These talks they keep having to have with Janni are coming often it's such a hard thing for poor Tom to deal with. He's so new at this & having to explain everything all the time to a 5 year old is quite difficult. I'm sure it will all pan out like before though.

I can see how much you love writing David he's so awesome :). I'm still a little weirded out about the fact that Janni knows about their relationship but I guess it was bound to get out sometime just didn't think it was so soon. The way he explained it was different than I expected as well. I guess there really is no easy way to explain it to a child. It's a complicated thing.

To be honest with you I didn't think Simone would be as accepting as she ended up being. She was so tense at first about it & now she's all whatever about it. If I ever have kids I want a kid like Janni just saying. :)
Author's Response: She was just tense in the beginning because she didn't know about Tom, not because she had a problem. I don't think she's quite 'whatever' about it, though. :)

The date was amazing even if it was tense in the beginning it all led up to an amazing time. I think after a while Tom will learn to relax more.

I love Janni she is adorable but that little meeting with Simone was pretty tense. I wonder how well that will go down. I was actually hoping to see the phone conversation they had to set this date up too.

I love the banter between David & Bill that was cute. I could've done without the talking of snot though lol. I have never thought of Tom as a father but in this it really suits him. He seems like such an awesome father. I'd like to know more about what happened with the Mother though. Bill does have every right to be scared about Tom being a father but I think it will all pan out.

It's funny that I just now remember I actually had a friend in kindergarten who had two fathers. And I was just the age as little Janni back then. We never made fun of him, because we didn't actually understand it was not commonality. Just like you said that they didn't.

I have to say, I really loved this story!
It was amazing how Tom felt about Bill and Bill about Tom. And how Bill decided, on the beginning, that even if he does not like kids, he'll try it with Tom and his little Janni girl.
Also, the relantionship between Tom and his daughter was completely amazing and I am really happy, they won the court! I cried when Tom got his baby girl back!
Simply, I love it so so much! Even if I'm a little bit sad to see this is the end! Thank you for writing it!

Wow... just wow. I love it when a story throws you for a loop. I laughed, I cried, I was nervous, I was scared. Every single emotion felt by your characters, I felt myself. Masterful storytelling, brillant idea. When the lawyer lead the priest around, I almost jumped outta my chair with my fist in the and shouted 'whoo!'
I just had to share with you how much I enjoyed this. Very believable, very good, and I'm a little sad that it's over. Good job!
