Uhm Bill's idea was not what I thought it was! I don't know what I was actually thinking, but it wasn't that! I loved it! I thought it was awesome! And the ending was my absolute favorite part. As soon as he said I got you something, I hoped and I prayed it was going to be a key. lol. And I got my wish! Thanks for the quick update, this chpater was the best out of all of them so far!

I think everything Tom said here makes a lot of sense and I'm glad he didn't just jump into this. It's the right thing to do and I'm also glad that Bill understands Tom's reasoning and respects it.
I truly hoped this is what it would be, but wasn't really sure, lol. However, I really hope that just them moving in doesn't mean that the excitement of seeing each other would stop, because it would just turn into another kind of excitement. Like, waking up in the morning and there's this beautiful man sleeping next to you and you lay there and realize, that if things get better between you, that this beautiful man will be waking up next to you for the rest of your life. And then your heart soars, your eyes might be a little moist and you feel like anything you say is lodged in your throat, but when you hold this beautiful person in your arms every morning, you'll know that this was how it was supposed to turn out in the end.
And that's all I can wish for them.
As for Janni, I know she's gonna enjoy having Bill in their life, but I also know that kids are kids and things she might not get from Tom, she might try to get from Bill, which will leave Bill in a tight spot, because he won't want to go above Tom's head on things regarding his own daughter, but I also know that Bill is smart and know what would be the right thing to do. Sometimes, you don't always have to be a parent to understand kids.

lol. Yes it was! I've used the same excuse for the boys to move in together in a story myself. Great minds think alike, yes? ;)
I'd do it in real life too. I always jump into things without thinking :) I love how nervous they both were about the idea of living together and you know me so well I don't have to tell you my favourite part of the chapter, do I? *winks* Tom's little date with his own hand was very, very nicely done ;)

And, yes. Bill's idea IS what I thought it would be, and I'm so glad. This was paced just beautifully, I thought. It was absolutely right for Bill to offer, even if the timing made Tom worry that he was offering more for Tom than for himself. And it was right for Tom to take his time saying yes, too. That last scene in the bar was so beautiful I could just about cry!
Other people might say they decided to move in together too quickly, but I say it's just right. When you meet that one person, you know. You really just know. Everyone is so richly realized in this story, it's one of the things I absolutely love about Janni. I'm so glad that Tom and Bill are going to face things together. ♥ And I look forward to Bill and Janni's relationship deepening, as well. Like Tom, I'm so happy they've taken to each other so naturally!

Haha I actually was surprised that he brought up living together. I thought he was just going to offer to help pay or get Tom a job or something. But oh my gosh! I'm so excited for them to live together! My heart swelled with warmth for them when they came together at the end. I was bouncing in my chair. :D

They were getting close enough that they didn't like being apart, they both realized the risks, etc. Maybe they could have waited until later but their situations would still be the same, so why not?
