Can I just say, it was SO SO SO hard to be good and finish my chapter and update, knowing that this was waiting for me? And I tried to read it slowly and make it last. ;)

I enjoyed every damned sentence of this update, from the delighted rushing feel of the move-in scene to Bill's overwhelmed sense of changing priorities to the chilly awkwardness of Anjelica's arrival. And Simone is a hugger! I am not surprised. I am, moreover, very much invested in finding out this "interesting idea" of Bill's. Reading "Janni" gives me such a warm happy feeling, it's like reliving falling in love all over again. ♥

Author's Response: Oh man! I didn't think it was that horrible of a cliffhanger, but I've got people talking to me about cliffhangers being something Satan does when he's feeling spiteful and stuff. Oops.

Simone is a hugger, yep. She just wants Tom to be safe and happy. She's smart enough to realize that, at his age, if she rejects Bill, Tom will find himself backing away from her. Writing chapter 18 should be interesting, to say the least.

Okay, sorry for this, but I want to leave another review. My last one yesterday was beyond crappy because legitimately I was up till 2 AM reading this.

Anyway, I steered clear of this story for awhile. I thought it was going to be overly, like, kid-loving corny stuff. But it wasn't and after getting hooked the first couple of chapters I abandoned my homework and just snuck my laptop to my room to finish this.

Thanks for making this so...real. I just love how it's not cliche. There's an actual relationship, there are troubles, there's actual discrimination that guy/guy couple would experience. It's just refreshing to read something this good. :) I regret avoiding it for so long. I was so in the wrong.

Anyway, so I'll post the many questions racing through my mind right now lol:

How's this gonna work out? Is Janni going to get hurt? Is Bill gonna find it harder then he thought? Are they ever going to argue?! What will happen if they do?! AHH the wait kills me.

Forgive me for this review do-over but I had to get it all out. ;)

Author's Response: I do understand your initial reluctance to read a 'kid' story; there are some that really aren't very realistic. I have children and step-children, so I have a little bit of experience and I'm really glad some of that is showing through. I'm very glad you're reading now, though, and that you enjoy it so much.
