But it’s different thinking about becoming Janni’s parent when you’re sitting all the way across town and you’re not telling her to run in the house underneath a heavy couch that could land on her head.
I loved that line n_n it just seemed so, perfect, because it is so different. Lol, Bill is getting a lot of ideas, and I think they're mostly good for Tom XD but dear Anjelica is a bitch...*growls* kill her... no, I think she has some nice depth, and she loves Janni so much, she just doesn't see with open eyes. n_n I don't know if that made sense, but yes, she needs to look farther than just two men kissing, you've got the love in there. n_n
Author's Response: You pick up on a lot of things that many others skim over or miss entirely and I so love that. Becoming a parental figure to Janni is a huge step for Bill and he's so nervous about it. I'm not sure that it was entirely solid in his head what being a parent would be about and that moment really brought it home to him.
Also! Anjelica does have some depth to her. She has reasons she feels the way she does. No, she definitely doesn't see with open eyes. I completely love that you got all that. Thank you! <3

Aside from the last bit, I most enjoyed the contrast between Anjelica and Simone, and I'm sure it goes without saying which of them I prefer. Your characterization in this fic is superb.
