God I love Tom as a father in this one! I've read a lot of stories of Tom as a single parent where he seem fake, he isn't natural. This was just perfect! I always have problems picturing the boys as parents, since no one is able to describe it right, well honey you did! You did it soooo perfectly! He is just the parent I'd imagine him to be, and Bill seemed really natural as well. Good job :)

Omg, I love how you've written Bill in this chapter. He's all pretty and special, but he still comes across as a man, and not a girly type of guy. It was so sexy, the way he put his hand on Tom's back. I suspect there are gonna be the most delicious fireworks between these two :P

Just because of that line, I totally melted for her :) it is just like a little girl to say, and the way she just was like, um...not sure, but you could be a girl with that name. It was just so sweet :) And then the way Bill handled it that was great for a girl :)

Awww :) I've got to love Simone, she's the girl's grandma, and seems just so sweet :) lol, it is a crappy way, but somehow it fits so seamlessly into here :) Going to clarify my last comment, which I read over and it only made some sense to me. *blush* I didn't think the guys acted like girls, just that they both were worried they were acting like girls. It was like a common thought, between the two of them, when they were worrying about their date, and thinking, when worrying, that they were both acting like girls... :) and I just found that adorable :) so yeah...sorry about that, hopefully makes more sense?
lol, I adore the last line too, even though Bill is the more feminine guy, he's the one who is leading them out the door, and kind of taking control :) It's a strong hand too, totally guy like, at least to me :)

I knew Janni would ask Bill is he was a boy or girl! It's such a little kid thing to do! I loved being able to see more of Tom's interaction with Janni as well as Bill's interaction with her. (I'm actually pleasantly surprised that Bill was so comfortable around her after all of his insecurities regarding the whole issue.) Plus, I'm now extra excited for Tom's and Bill's date! Can't wait!

This is such a great read, I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying this story, girl.
Seems like Bill is the 'man' in this relationship. He picks up Tom, opens the door and brings his hand to Tom's back to guide him. I like that a lot. It's a nice change. His feminine features has never fooled my two year old so I guess she's pretty smart, huh, exept for the part of calling him daddy for the longest time. lol. She's stopped that now btw. It was fun while it lasted, though. :) *hugs*

I don't know if Bill is the 'man' of the relationship, I think it's more that I want to make them more equal, which is not something we often get in fanfic. So maybe I overemphasis it with Bill in compensation, I dunno. But the image of Bill's hand on Tom's back is such a lovely one, it had to be there.
I STILL giggle that your daughter used to call Bill 'daddy'. Haha, yeah, your boyfriend had to hate that. But man, if she has to have an Electra complex, Bill would be a great daddy to fixate on. :p
