all babies eyes are dark blue when they are born, its because of a thickening of the ..cornea? i think that the one, it protects their eyes form damage for the first month or so, usually you won't know a baby's eye colour until they are roughly two -three months old :)

For some strange and insane ass reason, this little scene popped into my head at my kids' birthday party at the in laws. Now what is the appropiate protocol that one should do in thi kind of event? Because based on the looks I got from the mostly mormon side of my hubby's family, my reaction wasn't appropiate.... eh, I'll blame the pain meds sounds good, but yeah.... when it popped into my head I laughed so hard that I had soda come out my nose... I think what made them look at me oddl was the fact that nothing funny was going on at the time.... oh well

I stayed up till god knows when reading A Few Fries Short of A Happy Meal... had to wait till after the kids were in bed, but well worth the lost sleep. When I finished reading what was posted, I remembered seeing two others stories in the same universe... so I had to find the one I hadn't read yet. I've got all three tracked now
