I was insanely hesitant about reading this. Not because of the het, though I do prefer slash, but because of the title. My little ten year old brother’s name is Tom, and just when I had gotten used to reading the name in conjunction with someone sexy, you had to go and pair him with someone by the name of Jane. My name. Made me gag slightly to be honest, I see those two names together and think of me and my brother, not one sexy guitarist and some girl he was chasing.
That being said, I’m glad I finally got over my fear of this story and actually read it. It was believable, and well written. Though I did have a minor eww moment several times throughout the story, whenever I saw Tom and Jane in the same sentence my mind flashed to a picture of me and my baby brother. ;) I really enjoyed this story, great het, and great characterization.
I loved it!

This was expertly done. Impressive, since you don't usually do het. I really loved the comical banter between the two, especially considering it didn't stop once the sexual business had started.
