I loved the chapter... but god. I hate whining, but i have to whine right now that every chapter is almost the same; a bit of fluff and watching the movies and blah blah, I want something to happen there! now!!! Some action... I wouldn't mind if the action was sexual... (a) XD

While it's very believable that Tom's mom disapproves and not always is happy, unconditional acceptance, I gotta say I can't believe she didn't even put up an effort to be polite and at least engage Bill in some sort of small talk. As a mother, it's rather selfish for her to not be happy because she won't get grandkids, if she has other children. She should be happy he's happy and making someone else's life (that's dying) happy too. She should feel proud of him, rather than shun him for it, or Bill, who's like a second son to her. Very disappointing, but I hope she changes her mind later on.
I feel for these boys, but more so Tom now, because he's got all this pressure, admittedly brought on by himself only, but I'm glad he finally got to unload some of it in the last chapter.
You shouldn't have to watch anyone you love die. It should be blasphemy of some kind, like when your child dies before you. It's wrong. :(
BUT, great chapter nonetheless! ^^
