See? Tom's mind is fine, except the whole not remembering anything part. Naturally, of course, he's going to try to remember, but that's only normal, I would think. He lost a chunk of his life, and I can't blame him for wanting to get it back.
Why is bill being so mean to him? Does he feel abandoned? Doesn't he understand that Tom didn't forget on purpose?

I'm glad Tom now knows about the accident at least.
“Yeah, but I heard that Ryan guy wasn’t too happy when he got over the shock that ‘little Billy’ fought back,” Gustav informed them before taking a drink of his Coke. “I got curious after Ryan’s little introduction during our band practice last week and talked to the guy.”
Liam fidgeted in his seat a little as he said, “Really? What’d he say?”- this got me curious about Liam, why was he fidgeting?
I can't wait to read more on this, really good story.
