Author's Response: We chose that line because it showed a dramatic change in Bill. He wanted to go to the concert with them. He didn't go because he felt he had to, or because Tom wanted to. He went because he wanted to. He chose to spend time with Gustav and Georg. xxAli

I think the hardest obstacle for Bill would be cutting, because it never really leaves you, scars always remain, even long after you're healed. I am a former cutter, and I am not ashamed to say so, I've accepted it.
Especially at the end of this chapter, where Bill was self-harming without realizing it, this story is very realistic.
You just become stuck in this pattern, you get in this mindset that you need the pain.
Author's Response: Ali: -huggles- I'm a former cutter too, which is how I can help Bi write this story realistically unlike some of them out there where one of them is cutting and never think about it/do it again. I'm not ashamed of it either. If anything I'm proud of my scars, because it shows just how much I've overcome. I'm glad that you're no longer cutting; and, I'm as proud of you as I am of myself. The hardest was to stop cutting, which obviously he reverted back to.
I knew so many friends in high school that did this, some overcame it and others to this day I think continue it or died...not sure.

Wow, you guys are doing such an amazing job at this story. It is by far my favorite (First it was Because Of You but this story blew that one out of the water) Chapter 50 and I still can't guess which way it goes. Gott, this story really deserves that blue ribbon...

I don't remember exactly what chapter it is, it think it might be 29 or 30. Anyway, my fav chapter was the one were I told in a review that I could recognize myself in the things Bill said to Tom (Lines like: I can’t trust or talk to anyone, but I can talk to you without an issue.”

Anyway, that was my fav chapter together with one of the latest were Bill throws his box into the water. That one was so beautiful

I think Tom is my fav character. Just the fact that he sticks with Bill. no matter what mood Bill is in or what Bill is dealing with, or how vague Bill is acting...Tom just stays with him, patiently until things get somewhat normal again. How can you not love such a guy.

I dunno I don't really have a favorite line..I just wish that Bill would just not be around Ryan and get things patched up with Tom..Tom is hurting because Bill hurt him..But I think Bill should just lose ties with everyone that has hurt him..Tom has cared for him since they got to know each other again..That's what really matters a friend ship like that...
