OMG. I started out feeling so sad for Bill, but now I'm kinda mad! What a horrible thing to do to Tom. Not only to make him think that he's dead, but to let him believe it was his fault to.
Even if he 'came back' could Tom ever forgive him for that, once he'd got over the initial joy of Bill being alive?
