I like teh idea of a hard core looking Tom who can still giggle like a little boy. An endearing image. I like to think they might actually be that way.
This chapter was a bit like the first thaw os Spring. The ice melts just enough to make everything wet, and then a storm front moves in and destroys everything that the sun worked to hard to accomplish. Good stuff, this story.
Can't wait for the next part.

I love potatoes. They are truly one of the most awesome things in the whole world. You can do so much with them, and it's really hard to mess them up, unless you're my sister. Her mashed potatoes are thick as plaster. You could spackle the walls with them.
Bill really needs a swift kick in the ass in my opinion, just to set him on the right path. I hope Tom bugs the ever-loving shit out of him and drives him batty. Maybe there will even be a fight scene with them throwing things. That always cracks me up! Or not, that's fine too.
I'm really liking this. It's totally spiff so far.
