It was probably confusing at first why Bill would want Tom to follow him into the little wood, but readers need to trust the authors sometimes :P Indeed, Bill was well prepared; it's Tom own fault for sleeping all day long, hehe. Somehow I'm certain that no matter how much time passes by, Tom will always be affected by Bill's ministrations and the other way around. Especially if one thinks of a likely scenario where they have to hold back their true feelings most of the time and keep everything secret. Hehe, the sand castle was just a pretense of course – Bill is sneaky! It's important for me to establish in my stories where exactly they are in their relationship before initiating more things. In a way I was misleading my readers with the dirty hand games a bit, and one might expect some real (butt-) twin-sex to happen later. I was actually surprised how many people found that particular scene with the sand castle and the dirty talk so hot.

This made me lol so hard:

“Remember that weird, old guy at the harbor? He sold me a machete.”

Love it. Quirky moments like that really draw out and distinguish your fic from other paradise-hookup fics.
