Oh no, it wasn't OOC! I mean, it was, yeah, but in the meaning that he wasn't as harsh as usual, but I think it was right about time for him to come out of his shell, at least with the person he likes! I really appreciated how you wrote this chapter, truly. :) So I think you should let your characters swing their way more often! ;) Can't wait to see what happens with Tom and Bill. :) I'd like to read more about Tom himself, actually. :)

Cats are evil creatures who think they own the world. Regardless of the fact that they DO, they certainly don't have to rub it in.
I think the characters performed wonderfully in this chapter. Sometimes it's good to let them take the lead and do what comes natural to them. They know what's best for their story.
Author's Response: They really do rule the world. My kitty, Tom, just freaked out because I let the dog on the bed. *shakes head* I always let my characters do what they want, but when I read it over, I was like O.O Tom? What did you do that for?
