AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! That first meeting was priceless! And he healed Aile's wing!!! And then he was all surprised and flattered that Tom kept her all those years and they are so blushing and shy with each other, but they are already getting along! And Bill loves her name and smiles at Tom so prettily and Tom is so blushing and shy with him, one remembering the other more but recognizing that friend in each other from long ago.
And hell's bells, what's that at the end there? O.o
Author's Response: Ahaha, I had so much fun writing their first meeting because they're both so shy and adorable about it. Next chapter they're going to be even cuter, I do believe.
And you'll find out about the significance of the ending... eventually. ^_~

And the plot thickens... This is so good! Why is this a fanfic? If you've got enough chapters planned, this could easily be a book -- we so need some more gay, sci-fi/fantasy out there, like Lynn Flewelling's stuff.
Author's Response: Oh wow, thank you so much! My career goal, actually, is to be a sci-fic/fantasy author who writes gay and lesbian characters, so I see this fic as a form of practice for that. ^_~ But after all these wonderful reviews, I may consider trying to publish this in the end - modified of course, because it does get pretty explicit later on, haha.

Another perfect chapter. You just have no idea how much I look forward to reading this. Your descriptions and dialogue, it's all so rich and flawless. Have I said that before? Because I can't get over how well written this is. I have to remind myself I'm reading fanfiction and not a badass novel.

Oh wow, this is the most amazing world with the boys in it that I have read :) you've made this whole world, and made a writing style to fit with it, and keep it up the whole time, just wow :) I love how you put all the other charactors in and don't focus on just the boys, its refreshing to see different sides of stories :)

The old-fashioned, fairy tale-reminiscent writing styles are my favorite to use, so I was thrilled to have an opportunity to put them into play with this fic. :) And I'm having a lot of fun with all the side stories that will eventually tie together, too, though of course the boys are still my favorite. ;)

I've been checking for an update every day. :-) It's a good thing you take your time with this story and don't rush it (even though by now I'm desperate for som Bill/Tom interaction! *lol*). The language you use is very beautiful...not to mention in synch with the atmosphere of the story. I love it and will stay tuned! :-)

oh I love this fic. I love the whole clockwork and magic universe setting. And your writing is superb. The only thing I'm complaining is there's not much bill and tom intereaction, which means I'm begging for the next chapter.

Finally an update!! I've been checking THF every single day in the morning and in the night for an update and you would never disappoint me! It was so worthy of waiting.
The thing I personally like the best about Like Clockwork is that you don't seem to rush at all. And I love it. They finally met, at the end of the 3rd chapter, and how you would have me desperate for more!!
Keep the good work!! :)!!!! I'll always be waiting!
