This is my favorite take/fic on the 'incident' -- really good insight into the whole thing, and I like that it was through Bill's POV and nothing was ever directly mentioned...

I love this. I wish I could say something more eloquent, but I don't really know what else to say. The writing style was just right for this, highlighting the emotions and setting the mood for the reader. That scene with Bill comforting Tom was perfect.

Author's Response: OH THANK YOU! Being somewhat pretentious was actually a big concern of mine - I didn't want the twins to seem completely unrelatable.

I absolutely adored how abstract this is. It really does help to put the focus on the feelings and atmosphere and less on the details. The ending was especially my favorite. I love how you were able to make paint of all things seem so significant and deep. Much love for this story!
