Sometimes, you don't need longer chapters to get the point across. Case in point, this chapter. I think Cassie once had something with Tom, but it didn't last, probably because of something he did. Now, she's trying to run from the reality that is her broken life, but I don't think she'll get very far...
The flashbacks, too, I think are important. Without a past, no one can know anything about the present or a possible future.
I like this.

Not too shabby.
You might want to think about putting in some kind of something to show the break between POVs. It jumped from "her" to the boys, and I almost got lost in the turn-around.
I want to know who the girl is, where the memories(?) come from, and what her story is. I'll keep reading if you keep posting.
