Summary: There's two planets. A'wlo and I'oang.
Humanoid/Alien-like K'awloans have populated A'wlo for as long as the galaxy has existed. They're peaceful beings, who have never been outside of their home planet. They have knowledge of the galaxy and what lies beyond it, but they haven't dared to ever explore it due to the inhabitants of the enemy planet I'oang.
Long before A'wlo had been populated, there were only a few scatterings of K'awloans. The I'onag inhabitants (I'huoans) are more 'human' and have always hated the K'awloans for inhabiting A'wlo before them, and even tried to hold an Invasion..which failed, in the beginning.
Over one thousand years later, since the populations of both A'wlo and I'oang have multiplied.. the I'huoans invade A'wlo, succeeding.
In the invasion, a couple of the I'huoans take K'awloan infants and children, bringing them back to I'oang.
One of those children was 8 year-old Bil'ika, the son of one of the more royal-like K'awloan families.
He's taken back to I'oang, where his name is changed to Bill and he's raised as a slave, treated horribly. By the time he's 17 he's underweight, abused, and terrified of everything..but he has to obey his master, David, and David's son Tomas.
