Summary: Breaking News: Tom Kaulitz, the heart-throb guitarist for the German band Tokio Hotel, has openly admitted to his true identity. When asked why his facial features were so girly, he told: “Well you know, I haven’t always been Tom Kaulitz.” He sat there with one of those infamous smirks that he is known for.

We proceeded to ask what exactly that meant and he replied: “Well you know, I was born as Theresa Kaulitz.. But I never felt myself as a woman…I always was playing cars with Bill and finding myself attracted to women. My mother was never happy about me dressing in men’s clothing, but I felt comfortable. So I changed my name to Tom Kaulitz.” His words were spoken truthfully, without hesitation.

His brother, Bill, also stated: “You know, when we were younger he always wanted my clothing. I was never happy cause I hated that he wanted to be like me. I loved having my own identity as a male. But no, Tom…I mean Theresa…” He joked openly. “…just had to go and be a boy. Maybe this is why he wears baggy pants and claims to of slept with lots of women.”

He decided to reveal his true identity, stating that he cannot lie to his fan base. He said that most might be shocked, but he hopes that this will not alter anyone’s view on him. He also stated that, being oneself is more important that hiding under a false pretense.

This has definitely opened up a whole new world for this band. Once in the spotlight for their music, now taking the limelight for a tormented past. Is this the end of their fan screaming days or the beginning of something great? It’s hard to say now, but can only hope their fans will not be disappointed.
