In 2020, the demons descended. The cataclysmic event of "The Rising" shattered the world into a post-Apocalyptic waste where demons roamed the earth and humans survived, but only behind the protected Walls of cities few and far between.

One powerful demon, the Nephilim known as Jorg Kaulitz, had twin sons with a powerful human psychic to secure an heir for his House. He takes infant Tom and Bill outside the Wall into Nephilim territory in order to raise them as demons – and turn them against one another. Jorg is confident he can subvert the superstition against Nephilim twins by raising them under a harsh ultimatum.

In order to survive, one must kill the other.

"Are you sure you're okay, Bill?" Georg asked suddenly, and he could hear the concern in the older boy's voice. "You seem kinda...tense."
