Billa hates moving so much. As a 300- give or take- year old vampire with the ability to see the future, she knows it's necessary but that doesn't make it any easier. She loves her family, 'brothers' Andy and Ashley, 'sisters' Juliet and Carla, and especially the wonderful and intelligent couple who served as her adoptive parents, Dr. Matthew and Professor Melody Pond. Still, she does occasionally wish she could be human.

All that is changed hen she sees Tomi Seirra, a flaming lesbian with a sense of self that lights up the whole room. With one vision, she knows they belong together and she's determined not to watch this girl die a mortal life. But when the woman she's sure she belongs with ends up being a werewolf, can she still convince her they have a life together, just waiting for Tomi to accept it?
