Bill tries to sleep with his boyfriend to avoid being forgotten about. His boyfriend doesn't want to sleep with a virgin. Bill goes to his best friend's older brother, Tom. Tom has a reputation for deflowering anyone even remotely interested. It doesn't hurt that Bill has been in love with him since they were kids. Still Tom doesn't do relationships.... usually. Which is fine Bill has a boyfriend and is happy.... maybe.

Against his parent's wishes, Bill travels to the neighboring state to attend a concert. On his way back, he runs out of gas and gets lost trying to find a station. In his quest to find gas, he inadvertantly makes some enemies that turn Bill's fun night into one of pure terror.

Bill is attacked, but an unlikely savior comes to his rescue, and changes his life forever.

Tom grew up in the Domain of Mortia. Their deity is Death. Death is patient and inevitable. Death wants them to flourish. Due to an unfortunate incident when he was a baby Tom bears the mark of death. A skeletal handprint across his face. It has been met with fear and disgust his entire life. He wears a mask to cover "the blessing."

Bill grew up as the third son to the King of the Kaica Empire. Securing union with one of their most powerful neighbors was about all he could have hoped for. He is curious about the face under the mask. He proves himself to be kind and comptent.

How will he react to the actual face under the mask?
