Bill and Tom have a one time make-out session in Tom's truck over summer vacation. One problem, Bill is straight. He takes to avoiding the very gay Tom for the rest of the summer. When they end up in the same circle of friends and the same art class for their senior year Bill can no longer avoid Tom or his feelings regarding him. An emotionally intensive relationship leads to some high feelings and words that would be better thought out with cooler heads.

Between parents and interfering siblings and friends with their own fair share of problems as well as cruel high schoolers leads Bill and Tom to doubt their own relationship. Some kindly advice from some almost friends leads to them having a fairly decent run. With one man keeping secrets drives the other man into the arms of another. Will they ever find their way back to each other? Will they ever be able to trust one another again?
