It was a bit odd at first,
Waking up in a room with four guys I did not know.
The one with the dreads told me I was their adopted sister.
The one with the black hair said I was hit by a car.
The one with the flat brown hair told to me try to remember them.
So I tried hard,

But the blonde one told them to stop,
He said I forgot the four years I was with them.
Now I KNOW I'm not the MOST observent girl in the world,
But really,
Four Years?

Carrying heavy memories and the weight of the world’s conflicts and problems on their shoulders, in the tragic catastrophes of War, the hopeless ruins of a Russian town, two people go beyond what they know and all they’re supposed to believe in to find themselves redeeming one another from their past, and present.  A torn nightgown; the sacrifice of already scarce food; profound and avid hearts attempt to survive in the recklessness of warfare. Inevitably and reluctantly, they find themselves in an impossible and fatal situation that could ultimately lead to both their deaths. But it’s the journey that counts.



They’re just small sentences in the many pages of History. Everyone has a story; theirs is not special, but it’s theirs nonetheless.
