This is my face.
But, my real name is Gabby. I'm eighteen, and I'm from a city in New York that I'd bet you've never heard of.
I have a part-time job at a restaurant around here, and I just started college at a local school around here, and I'm double-majoring in English and German. I'll be here for a year, then I'm moving to the next city over in the summer, to graduate and become either a translator or a paralegal, if being an author doesn't work out by then. But, four years is a long time, and I'm an optimist, so I like to think something good will happen by then.
That wasn't random. It was to tell you I have a lot going on, so you know why if I disappear for weeks on end, like I have the nasty habit of doing sometimes. I just get busy, is all.
I'm really bad at talking about myself. I like Starbucks, and my cats, and music, and Mexican food, and baking, and going to concerts, and my friends, and law/criminal justice TV shows, and guys with superb grammar, and the internet, and not wearing pants. And a lot of other stuff, too.
Slowly but surely, I'm making peace with who I am. I'm starting to like me.
