Needless to say, in my last review for This Hour's Duty I mentioned in so many words the feeling that there was more to the story than the ending gave. Ten minutes later, I found this second story. And all I can think of is "Oh, Tom... How /could/ you?"
All credit to see that Jorg had a heart after all, even as I wished for a less traumatic way for Bill. :(
Umetnica's illustrations are incredible and really convey the tone of the each chapter well. I love looking at each one as I read!

Aw, the ending was so sweet! Bill and Tom are together, with a loving family, and can reminiscence with fondness on Anis.

I can't... I'm in tears. I've been dreading this for long time, because every time I tried to read it, I'd end up in agony. Now I finally decided to finish it, and here I am. I loved it. It was so full of emotion, it was... Overwhelming. The end was perfect, and all I wish is that I could keep reading, I don't even know how to express how incredibly well written and awesome this is! I guess I'll be re-reading it soon, very soon. Thank you for writing such a great story. If it were to be published, I'd more likely buy it!

god i can't remember enjoying a story this much recently. i suppose i can just be glad that i left this story for so long without reading it...wonderful job, and i'm somehow very pleasantly filled with the image of Bill as a 'motherly' figure :3 so sweet

god this is so deeply emotional, like i'm feeling a thousand things at once with bill...amazing job of that, i can honestly say i've felt every emotion in my heart that bill has, and that even bushido and tom have, which is just testament to the greatness of the storytelling

I had no idea there was a sequel until I stumbled upon this. Imagine my surprise when I realized what it was I was looking at. I almost fell out of my chair haha. I absolutely loved this! It was just as amazing as the first part. The pictures were simply amazing also. All in all....Excellent job with this.

This, together with "This Hour's Duty", is a real masterpiece. I'm really happy I have finally read it.
I love everything about it, your characters are so real and storyline is simply amazing. It was really painful to know that with every chapter I'm coming closer to the end of this story yet I couldn't stop to read it.
As for characters, I really admire Tom for being able to forgive Bill. I know he made mistakes too but he was trying from the beginning of their relationship, opposite to Bill who didn't even bother to give him a chance. I have to say sometimes I really disliked him. But again, it only proves how "alive" were people in this story.

Even after reading both stories a second time, I still find them both absolutely amazing.
The characters, the storyline...everything about it is just completely wonderful. I couldn't help but get so completely absorbed in the story...I felt like I was right there every step of the way.
You two have created a masterpiece here. A beautiful story full of so much love and emotion.

This was the best story I read in years. It reminded me of THE LEFT HAND OF THE DARKNESS (if you havent read it, maybe you will give it a thought) which is one of my favourite boks ever. You created such an interesting world, the characters are so complex, I was totally swept away! It ruined my social life for two days but it was totally rewarding.
You are both so gifted...

I'm totally speechless. I've read this series in 2 days and I can't believe it took me 2 years to decide to read it. This is definitely one of the most beautiful piece of work on this site. I must say that reading something like ``do not scroll on the drawing`` make me want to do just that. But then, I saw the rest of your note, and I didn’t scroll down. I was spoiled about Dumbledore’s death and I’m still kinda angry with my brother for that... lol So yeah, I’m so glad I didn’t saw the pic before reading.
What an amazing chapter it was. You are so talented, I can't even begin to describe all of the emotions you made me feel with this story.
