Although this story was very iffy at first, given the initial plot I was presented with, and the grammar was sort of less than great, I thought you turned it around midway. It was absolutely hilarious, and I like the various twists brought in, especially with the whole sister thing.
Yeah, though, I do think your characters are quite under developed. You have the basics down, but there's so much more you can add to make them more life like. I also think the situation with Tom, Georg and Tessa is a bit, well, exaggerated.
A lot of your plot twists and whatnot do make up for anything lacking, and Break Away was an enjoyable read.

i feel so worried about Jessie.
i read this from start to finish and i had several heartattacks and died... twice!
this is absolutely amazing and i can't wait to see the finale.. just so i know what happens! but i don't want it to end!
and the love triangle keeps on turning. it's odd. like the triangle is in the center of a heart and everytime it turns, the heart is getting more and more damaged. that's tessa's heart. and the two boys are slowly demolishing her heart altogether!
