I really like how you're skipping the POVs from Tom [?] to Bill. It's a really hard thing to pull off and most times it ends up sounding amateurish and stupid, but you make it sound really nice and it flowed well.
This is a really beautiful story so far and I love how you're writing it :]

OMG I LOVE THIS STORY!!
I thought it was rather cute Tom tripped over a guitar case, you'd think h'd have like jedi powers to know where anything guitar related would be.. I was expecting him to fall from a tree.
The best part has to be him fainting at the sight of blood though.

Hmmm...I count six flash spots. One on Bill's face, one on his knees, one on the sofa arm, one on the sofa seat, one on his shins, and one should have been on the wall by his head. I believe that since the title is "Funeral of Hearts", the banner is faded because Love is the Funeral of Hearts. The Chinese also believe white to be the color of mourning, the color of snow. So there is my answer.
