This chapter made me think of all the shit Tom and Ria have had to put up with. I honestly don't know how people can be so hurtful and mean to someone they don't even know. Ria doesn't deserve the hate and neither does Geneva in this fic. Girls are petty, catty and all around mean and I don't know how any celebrities' girlfriends can put up with it.
It's like you want to be with this person, but other people are ruinin it for you. I give Tom and Ria props for being able to keep their relationship a secret for as long as they did. I wish they would have been able to keep that secret longer and until Tom was ready to share her with the rest of the world.
Sorry, I get really frustrated when fans act so terribly.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Tom and Geneva handle things.
P.S. I love how you put 'bad apples' in this chapter! I seriously laughed out loud!
Author's Response: Urgh, I know...at first I was a bit like "DAMN RIA TO HELL" but more because...well, I dunno...but, if she makes Tom happy then we should be happy for him. I mean, you really can't live your life thinking that Tom (and Bill *weeps*) will be single forever. I mean, okay, so most of us Aliens kinda want them to end up with us but, realistically, it won't happen, so we just have to be happy for them when they find the people that are destined to make them happy...rnrnAnd I have a LOT of experience of the cattiness of girls: my boyfriend isn't famous or anything but he's SUPER popular and a kick-ass photographer (hense the reason that he's left me here alone to go to Russia ='( )and we'd been dating for about a year before his friend's found out and they totally blew up about it and still make my life a misery to this day...rnrnBut still, I'm really glad that you're enjoying it, and I'll be updating soon ^-^ xx
