Oh my god! I'm crying, I barely can stop sobs. This work holds so much! At the beginning I thought that it is another sad story about not so good ended labor, of course it's painful and pitiful, but afterlife was absolutely unexpected. And all this pain just too easy to imagine because our generation could be the one that will see the atomic war. Will we be together with our beloved even after or are we dead long time ago and this reality is our Heaven?

I can't believe I never reviewed this. This story was wonderful! It was so beautifully written, its full of heart wrenching moments. My soul hurt for a majority of this; mostly with feels I didn't know what to do with. It was wonderful and honestly one of my favorite stories ever!

As a general rule I never read stories that contain the words "major character death" in the description. I've read almost all of your other stories and they're always hard hitting and effective so I was doubly afraid to read this one - but I couldn't look away. Each chapter I thought I was getting closer to a painful ending, and then wham - you just completely turned it around and left me not only satisfied, but speechless and practically weeping over my keyboard. Absolutely, completely amazing. Apparently I'll follow you and your muse down paths I'd normally never touch.

This story is of such a beauty that it has been one of my absolute favorites on this site to this day. I am glad it appears again, as a re-post, though I found it perfect as it was already before. Thanks for sharing "the upgraded" version:-)
