I have just read all 5 Fairytale Failures now and man... My heart aches for Tom. From one abusive relationship to another. And I am not talking physically. Amazing writing here. Absolutely amazing.

Author's Response: yeah, tom breaks my heart, ngl. thank you so much!

Oh, You have such a way with words.
I can't believe I didn't notice this story sooner, since I always come back to read your stories once in a while.
So, this part(like all) had me in a trance the whole time I was reading.
I'm in love with every word each character says. I hope there will be more soon ?

Author's Response: thank you so much! (and yes, hopefully, there will be more.)

Wow... parental incest. xDDDDDDD

Okay..

I loved that. It was so beautiful and lovely. With how Tom describes Bill, and how "Bill" is portrayed. I loved how the thing about their father wasn't obvious in paragraph one, but progressed through out it. And, the end where Tom goes to his father's house.. I mean, when I clicked your fic and saw 'main pairing' I didn't think literal. Dunno why. But the ending was great.

Lovely (:

Author's Response: lol, yeah, but it's been there since the beginning, indeed, throughout all the stories, so i hope it didn't squick you too much. :) thank you so much for the review!

Wow, you're back with this? So wonderful! I like!

I'm stunned by this triangle, this trinity you built. It's so messed up, so sick, but you know what? You make it sound like it makes sense. Very powerful images and amazingly written inner conflicts. I like it how the chapter revolves, twists around Tom's past and present and how they mix and melt to each other. It feels like never ending circle.

Who is doing wrong, who is doing right - it doesn't really matter, because I don't see this fic/series having anything to do with right or wrong, but more like surrendering and surviving. Is it weird if I like this because of it?

I think the most amazing part of this fic was when Bill leads them to upstairs and the last line of that scene:

(Obedient little boy, following his father’s outstretched arms.)

It summarized the whole longing and sickness in this triagle.

Author's Response: it's not weird at all! i like it because of it, too, actually. :) and that line is actually from love faileth, because i think subconsciously i wrote this to be the end. the aforementioned story is the overview of the series, while the other parts are sort of missing pieces, and i think i wrote this to be the last missing piece, so it sort of came full circle with that line. but we'll see. thanks so much for the review!

I don't even know what to say. To say Tom needed closure would be true, but this kind of closure? I don't know. It's not even really closure. And I feel bad for Bill, I guess, but Bill probably would have done the same thing, and he wouldn't have thought of Tom while doing it, so that doesn't really bother me that much. I kind of want to know what Bill is going to say when he finds out, though.

And your writing? It still takes my breath away.

Author's Response: oh, this isn't what i would call closure. tom is still completely fucked up wrt jorg, and vice versa. i mean jorg...he has his problems. and we'll see what bill says. ;) thanks for the review!

I'm really conflicted by this. I love the way Tom's character is progressing, but him sleeping with Jorg just filled me with a huge sense of betrayal on Bill's behalf. This was all so complex and the emotions so convoluted, but I still loved it. I'll wait with baited breath for the next installment!

Author's Response: lol, yeah, i get it. a shipper to the core. ^_^ but then again, tom and bill have never been exclusive, have they? and don't think for a moment bill wouldn't have slept with a past lover if the thought had caught his fancy. eh, what i'm trying to say is, you'll see how bill reacts later. and thank you so much for the review! :)

Oh yeah that helped, thanks :D

I take it Bill won't be happy when he finds out Tom had sex with Jorg?

Author's Response: *sing-song voice* you'll seeeee. :D

So, Tom loves Bill, but Bill doesn't love him back? And Jorg still loves Tom or not?

Author's Response: ah...have you read the previous stories? because this is pretty much a huge dysfunctional mess. of course bill loves tom, but he needs him more than he loves him. and of course jorg loves tom, but that love is very twisted and far more tied in with his own twisted needs than anything. jorg and bill have that in common, actually. i hope that clears some things up, and thanks for the review. :)
