This is some of the most beautiful prose I've ever read. I could smell, taste, touch, every single line. And the imagery is a world of its own. Autumn is my favorite season, too, and it is captured absolutely brilliantly here. To say I LOVE it is an understatement, but I hope it will do :)

Author's Response: it's more than enough. :) thank you so much!

really great story. it seems as if Bill is more vunerable in this one, at times, but then he's back to being the wildcat that he is in your other stories, even if its brief. i do think the story is good, exceptionally so, even though het from you is different.

Author's Response: i usually try to write him as the wildcat, yes, though not in this story. well, not much, anyway (sometimes i can't help myself). but thank you so much, and lol, i know, het is different, isn't it? i enjoyed writing it, though.

It's cold outside and it's raining. It's the middle of the nigth and I can't sleep. So I got up and came to look for your fics. They read better than anything in times like these with my thoughts being anything but traceable and understandable.
I fell in love with your fox and had the slightest urge to drink Kat's blood when you described it the way you did. I feel like I like her more than than I would like to admit. Maybe it's just my state, who knows, but I really think I like her.

Author's Response: oh, you. i want to say something more eloquent, but...oh, you. it's comments like this one that makes everything worth it, every headache i get when i try to force the words out when i have a writer's block, just everything. like maybe the things i write actually touch someone in some way. about kat, i really like her too. i think original characters, female especially, are really hard to write (and like!) but personally i really, really enjoyed writing kat. uhh, basically, what i'm trying to say in my usual long-winding way is, thank you.

I don’t feel comfortable placing my original review on here, so I’m mailing it to you, if that’s okay. All I can say is that I loved the story, you’re absolutely brilliant.

Author's Response: it's perfectly fine. and thank you! <3

This was incredible. I love the way you write-- so much descriptive language and the metaphors are kind of mindblowing and overwhelming in an awesome way. I obviously understand that it's done on purpose (the mystery and all) but I'm DYING to know who Bill actually was, or at least who you imagined him as. Even if you can't answer that, thank you for the best read anyway.

Author's Response: thank you so much! and as for bill, well, i imagined him as something of a mix between the folktales he told kat and as a creation of autumn and an urban legend. am i making sense? i would have put this in the category spirituality, but sadly there is no such category on this site. he wasn't a ghost, anyway, and he wasn't a god. anyway, thank you so much for the review!

I feel like I could take pretty much every line from this story and it would make a phenomenal quote. Your writing can wreck a person, and I mean it in the best way possible.

*stands there speechless*
This is one of the best fics I've ever read, seriously. I'm completely in love, I can't even explain it. I told you, the imagery is perfect, and you can feel autumn in every word, every turn of phrase, every metaphor... I love the folk tales, the fox, the rabbit... perfect. Really, I can only bow and... I love it. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful story!

Author's Response: eep. you know i love you, right? right? thank you, bb. <3

THIS was beautiful. YOU are beautiful. I wish I had more to say, but you make me speechless. ♥

Author's Response: that is more than enough, darling. :)
