I honestly don't see anything sad about this stand alone, as well.
Okay, I understand that the topic the characters are discussing, might be considered to be gloomy, because, let's face it, death, in any shade or form, is somewhat a mood killer, no matter the kind of conversation you're having at the time. But it's reality, and I think that's what leaves the readers with mixed feelings. Is it sad? -- Yes, in a realistic way. Was it intended that way? -- Most likely not. But then again, reality is most likely to be 'sad'. Happy endings are likely to be overshadowed with a bad one. Either way, great stand alone! I really enjoyed reading it. -- Also, nice to read a fic where Bill is both submissive and dominant.. Nice change of pace, from all those 'Bill is an innocent, delicate flower, he needs Super Tom to protect him from literally everything! A leave fell on top of his head? Do not fear, Super Tom is near! -- You catch my drift, so kudo's to you. n_n

No offense, but I kinda skimmed over the rimming myself, cuz its a squick for me too. BUt I am proud of you for pushing through your squick and writing it anyway.
This was very good. I loved everything but the rimming. It was alittle sad, but also, not really. It was great. Keep up the fantastic work! I hope to read more from you!

That was so sweet, I really enjoyed it. I understand how people can see it as sad cause just the idea of the twins not dying at the same time is really painful. I personnally like reading fics when they talk about that, just because we really get to see how much they care for each other and how deep their bond is.
I can't read fic where one of the twin dies, but you did a really good job of them talking about it :) It was cute and the ending was hot ! Best combination!

Aw...I agree with your note, I can see how people can find it a bit sad, but the sweetness greatly overrules it. So, aww...again

I really enjoyed this story. The thought of the two of them talking about this, of promising each other this, somehow rings very true. The overlying sadness is triumphed over by their connection. :D

Well good job at writing it lol You did a great job truly and I know how you feel about writing it, it's always hard to do XD but trust me you did excellent with it. I liked this story a lot, it was very touching, and sad in parts but loving too.

Something like this is so hard for me to read. Just the thought of one going before the other makes my heart hurt so much. But I really like how you handled their conversation about it. Tom's emotions were so vivid, it seemed I could feel the heaviness around him. And the end, of course, was gorgeous, especially their last bit of dialogue. Very nicely done. :D

Ah, the beginning was so tender and loving, with all the gentleness flowing from the lines and from between the lines. It was so beautiful and made me feel all warm; then the heat turned up a notch and it all became very hot, and so good :) Nicely done!
