Bah, I keep forgetting to review this.
I think this story is tasteful humor at its best. Well, 'tasteful' is relative, I suppose, but I appreciate all the subtle humor throughout the story. I think I might love Tom's character; I would gladly accompany him in his old-fart ways, with all his thy's and thou's and his knitting and his alpacas. He's trying so hard to be evil but he just does not have the capacity. Somehow this equates rather accurately to real life Tom and his grandpa ways, and in general grandpa!Tom is just adorable, so I just love everything about his character.
In fact, I love everything about this fic. I'm so glad you decided to pick it up again. :)
