Interesting line. It seemed almost rape-fic-ish, with the whole blood drinking thing that Tom doesn't like, but as it progressed (and became clear that Tom was a mostly willing victim) it seemed more and more like masochist Tom and slightly sadistic Bill XD Well done =)
Author's Response: Well I'm very pleased that you got that out of it. Tom is definately dub-con in this fic, but there is also an unacknowledged willing masochistic element to it. Thanks!

Georg would produce some sort of taunt or jeer, intended to rile his competitor, to which the drummer would only respond with a short grunt of, “gonna beat you,” or, “gonna win.” -
was kinda really hilarious. and also endearing. unflinching determination in the face of defeat. it`s so gustav-y. and again with the awwww) also it provided much needed comic relief, coz if i had to use only 1 word to describe these series, it would be INTENSE.

Hi there...i guess i'm one of those horrible people you mentioned on your profile who never, ever reviews. So, just to pay you back for writing such a lovely story, i'm giving you my "review virginity" (please, please don't think i'm a weirdo...xD)
i read all of your Pomme de Sang series, and i really like your writing style and characterization, though in the other stories the way that Tom and Bill interacted didn't sit well with me. The writing and mood was still fantastic, but just not....happy. Not that i read exclusively fluff, but still...i like it when characters that are supposed to be lovers at least get along, you know? but i won't pass judgement on how you want to write them. That's why /this/ is the story i chose to review, because the atmosphere is so different. I really love the way you portrayed Bill and the other vampires, and made the interactions and conversations seem clear and realistic. Also, Tom was particularly great, because he had fear and worries and misgivings. There are plenty of stories where Tom would just blindly follow Bill anywhere, even if he were a vampire. And while those stories are quite sweet, the way you made Tom reluctant and human was unique and much easier to relate to. Thank you for writing such a fantastic story!

Author's Response: I don't know. Maybe he'll eventually change him. Or maybe he never wants to see Tom's humanity spoiled by immortality and will let their romantic attachment go when Tom gets older. Like I said, you can decide what you think would happen.

Author's Response: Glad you appreciated the "realism" of it. Some people write having your skin pierced clean through by sharp fangs as pleasurable without any physical or metaphysical explanation of why it doesn't hurt. I hate that.

Wow. Bill being so harsh and possessive as a vampire is actually really sexy ;) It was really cruel what he did to Tom, and I feel so sorry for poor Tomi ;( Nobody should have to be used to being cut.
