i should have stopped reading at chapter 2 i can’t BREAAAAAATHE !! i haven’t opened this website in years and i’ve read your other work before and now i read this one and i cAN’T IDK WHAT I’M FEELING ! i usually read stories with happy endings but in a way this ending was more realistic BUT SIDHQKBSSKSHSJBSJSHDJSHD. still i loved the story it was very well-written and it envoked a lot of emotions 😭😭

Author's Response: I feel your pain! This was definitely a sad one. I don't know what came over me! lolrn rnI'm not in the fandom anymore, but thought I'd pop in for the first time in years and reread some of my stories on here. I've gotten a lot better as a writer (IMO) since I wrote TH, so I encourage you to go look me up on Ao3 (sarahyellow), and/or Tumblr (sarahowritesostucky). Thanks for reading and dropping such a nice comment!

I have left a review on other stories of yours, but wanted to say that I enjoyed this one too!

Author's Response: Hi! Thanks that's great I'm glad you liked it! I'm not in the fandom anymore, but thought I'd pop in for the first time in years and reread some of my stories on here. I've gotten a lot better as a write (IMO) since I wrote TH, so I encourage you to go look me up on Ao3 (sarahyellow), and/or Tumblr (sarahowritesostucky). I've mentioned this on other reviews: I came into the TH / THF fandom in Jan’22. The vast majority of fics I've read are quite old and I'm sure the authors have moved on (and probably wont even see new reviews), BUT I figure why not leave one anyway… I enjoyed this fic and wanted to say thank you for writing and sharing it!

Author's Response: Hi! I'm so glad you liked the fic! You're right: I'm not in the fandom anymore, but thought I'd pop in for the first time in years and reread some of my stories on here. And I really appreciate you taking the time to drop a nice comment! I've gotten a lot better as a writer (IMO) since I wrote TH, so I encourage you to go look me up on Ao3 (sarahyellow), and/or Tumblr (sarahowritesostucky). I may even do a project in my current fandom that uses the ideas of Sense of Touch. I know it's not Bill x Tom, but it'll be very similar in terms of plot. Thanks for reading and dropping such a nice comment!

I'm crying as I write this.You write amazingly. It's perfectly formed and laid out.I wish the parting wasn't true. But it makes the story all the more wonderful. ;_;

Author's Response: Thank you!

The ending for this story isn't as devastatingly depressing as the ending of the other one in the Pantheon series. I like it. An open ambiguous ending were they have the ability to end up happy. :)

Author's Response: Yeah I can't write too many horribly depressing stories, some have to be slightly more cheerful. I'm glad you liked this one.

Though I tracked this story since a few months ago, I hadn't read it because... I'm not really sure why, maybe, deep inside I was scared. And damn! I was oh, so right! In my literature classes I've learned that sad is beautiful too, but I've never been very fond of that idea; I usually prefer stories with happy endings because I love getting away from this depressing reality.
This was so heartbreaking that I cried as I hadn't cried in so long but I couldn't help but find it amazing... Extremely sad, but beautiful.

Author's Response: Well I am so glad that you read it despite your fears. Thank you so much for giving it a shot, that means so much since I did work hard to make it beautiful. And when it comes to being a reader not a writer, I am right there with you: happy lets me escape life, sad is hard to take. Thanks so much for reviewing :)

I loved it! I really want a sequel! One where they fall in love and stay by each others side for ever, or something like that:-D Please?! It may be short, but it may be the best story i have ever read on here!

Author's Response: Oh sorry, but I think one of the sweetest things about this story is the hopeful but open-ended finish to it! (I like ot think that they end up very happy together each year that Bill visits). I'm so glad that you liked it and wow, the best story ever??! Thanks!

I....cried.
Two thumbs up for this story. I could imagine every scene you wrote. This is top perfect. Oh my heart

Author's Response: It is a really sad story, and I'm so glad that it evoked such a strong reaction from you. It's a great thing, to hear that you were able to perfectly picture each scene.

So sad!!! There needs to be some sort of prequel to this story!! It would make me feel so much better about poor Bill!!!

Author's Response: A prequel would be pretty boring; it'd just be Bill, all by himslef on that island. Well... and the sirens too. But no love interest or major plot line. But I hoped you like the fic as it is anyways.

You know, this story is one of the few that gets me crying each and every time.. It's so heartbreaking! I can't imagine what it must feel like for Bill, to know he'll never see his love again..

Author's Response: I'm glad it evokes such emotion, and that you read it more than once, wow. Thanks!

I like the story :D But i don't understand that with the fruit, at the end. maybe becaus i'm not a nativ english speaker? could you say what that with the fruit means? i would thank you :)

yeah, i lile the story, and mostly, i like bills and toms charakter. thanks for sharing the story with us :)

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it, thanks. The myth that this story is based on is a Greek story, and in that myth, Persephone (Bill's character) ate seeds from a pomegranite. For each seed she ate, she had to return to Hades for a month.

Stop it, stop making me cry. i just re-read this and my heart is breaking for Bill. i felt everything they were going through, the good and the bad. The end just shattered me, and now im going to have to find a way to cheer myself up somehow, cheers. You're an amazing author because you moved me, not many things can do that..

Author's Response: So glad my story could evoke such strong emotions, and it's very excitng to hear you came back to read it again. Both good compliments, I think.
